Baltic Investment Company (BIC) advised to the international financial group PPF on acquisition of PrivatKredit, one of the Ukrainian leading non-banking financial institutions.

The international consumer finance specialist Home Credit Group, member of international financial group PPF, announced acquisition* of PrivatKredit, a leading Ukrainian consumer finance business, for an undisclosed consideration. The purchase will allow Home Credit Group to enter the Ukrainian market and to become a leading consumer finance player within a short time frame.

The acquisition of a leading consumer finance business in Ukraine and also commercial bank AGROBANK (transaction announced by PPF on 28/07/2006) creates significant synergies of two robust financial businesses.

BIC provided buy side financial advisory services to PPF. By this transaction, BIC strengthened its leading position in providing M&A advisory services in Ukraine, Russia and the Baltics.

* The acquisition is subject to the approval of Ukrainian Antimonopoly Office.
