Moscow, November 10, 2012 – IMS Health has acquired Intellectual Property assets of Pharmexpert Group. The transaction is effective as of signing.

Pharmexpert Group, founded in 1996, is the leading local provider of market intelligence for pharmaceutical industry in Russia, other CIS countries and Serbia. Pharmexpert Group has built a strong position with local and some international pharmaceutical manufacturers, providing wide range of analytical databases as well as market research and consulting services for its clients.

IMS Health is a leading provider of information, services and technology for the healthcare industry, covering markets in 100+ countries around the world. In 2010 IMS Health was taken private by TPG Capital, CPP Investment Board and Leonard Green & Partners.

BIC Securities acted as the exclusive financial adviser to Pharmexpert Group and its shareholders.

It has already been the second Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare sector related transaction completed by BIC Securities team in Q4 of 2012.
