Kiev, December 6, 2010 – Platinum Bank and Home Credit B.V. announced reaching an agreement on transaction, where Platinum Bank will acquire 100% of share capital in Home Credit Bank (Ukraine), headquartered in Dnepropetrovsk. The transaction is signed and is expected to be completed in the next few months after receiving necessary approvals in Ukraine.

Platinum Bank is a specialized retail bank offering deposit and loan products since 2005. With over 500,000 clients in Ukraine, as of January 1, 2010 its assets amounted to 1.5 bnUAH. Key shareholders of Platinum Bank are Horizon Capital, East Capital and IFC.
